DIY Safety Pin Bracelets

I decided to make my own bracelets from leftover safety pins. It took about a minute and the results were amazing. The bracelets are simple but add an edge to a simple outfit. They are easy to layer and mix with other bracelets. I hope you guys try them out because they are so easy and inexpensive. These might have cost two to ten dollars (depending on the store). Mine cost about thirty cents.

THANKS

New Jetzavel

First and foremost, I would like to apologize for absence I was dealing with some personal problems. I guess this time off has been a blessing in disguise, I have not been happy with the direction my blog was headed. It was just a mess of something I’m not passionate about just clothes. I lie fashion, food, and my Californian lifestyle, those are my true passions. I have decided to change my blog from mindless posts of just clothes and make it a lifestyle blog that will include fashion, food, DIYs and, at home. My page will be changing more and more in the coming days.

Switch Them Up

So I decided that it was time to reorganize my shoes from spring/summer to fall/winter. I was going to show them on my shoe racks, but they did not photograph well so I  put them on my floor. You will notice that I will be using some shoes all year. I am warning and apologizing that some photographs are out of order, sorry.

Spring/Summer Favorites
These were my favorite shoes this season because the color is bright and it is easy to color block or just add color to an otherwise dull outfit.

Fall/Winter

Fall/Winter Favorites
I chose these shoes for my fall favorites because the booties  add color to a simple dark outfit, I also like the trim on them. I chose the black ones because they remind me of some Jimmy Choo and Louis Vuitton that I saw on the runway.

Final Thoughts
I was going to do my fall/winter flats, but I'm really tired. This post has taken me four hours. It is by far the longest post I've ever done; It took 100 photographs to complete it. I was thinking of not posting it, but I was going to do it no matter what so I decided to include all. I just noticed that most of my shoes are really dirty. I will clean them, especially the suede ones, I will post it when I come around to it.

 Thanks

Burn Baby Burn!

Dress: Angl
Top: Forever21
Shoes: Steve Madden
Necklace: Urban Outfitters
Bracelets: Metropolitan and Forever21
Rings: Forever21

I have had the worst weekend ever! I feel tired and I'm in so much pain, I chemically burnt my mouth!OUCH! I like the sensation of mouthwash so I kept rinsing my mouth and brushing my teeth, like 15 times in a 24 hour period. I ended up with swollen taste buds and small blisters in my mouth. It hurts to eat and I'm always hungry.

To the outfit, I love dresses that can stand alone or can be divided. I sometimes layer them with a top so only the bottom is visible or wear a skirt over it to show only the top. I think this is important in everyday dresses, I wouldn't buy a dress that I couldn't wear multiple ways. I also don't follow some rules, for example, my top is actually on backwards. I thought it looked more interesting this way. I don't care about silly things like that or things like size. Technically I am a size 0-2, but I will wear a size 6 if I think it fits me well and looks good. Well besides that, I don't know if you can tell but my nail polish is really chipped. I ran out of nail polish remover so I can't change the color. The worst part is there is a store a couple of blocks away from my home and I'm too lazy to go buy some! I think that by starting a to-do list it will help me be more proactive.

Downtown

Skirt: Forever21 (dress worn as a skirt)
Top: Urban Outfitters
Ring: Forever21 (sorry not shown well)
Shoes: Steve Madden

I went to downtown today to make my CHANEL inspired jacket and only found the rings and one of the five different types of trim that I need. BOOOO =(. I have to go back to look for more trim. I did find a manikin torso and some fabulous fabric with hieroglyphic pattern on it. I will cover the manikin and use it to display my necklaces and belts. I will do a DIY when I'm done with it.

About the outfit and pics, since I was going to downtown today I decided to go super comfy. No fuss and just a bit plain for my taste, it's ok though. I didn't like how the pics came out but I had to leave and had one minute to take my pics. Sorry!
